A narrow, enclosed kitchen and lower-level living room have been transformed to support the current lifestyle of the family, creating a spacious, expanded eat-in kitchen and open living area. The new addition captures and expands upon the footprint of a previously underused sunroom, while the floors were leveled to provide a continuous flow to new large sliding doors, connecting the interior to the outdoors.

The renovation also added a rear patio and covered seating area, enhancing the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The existing kitchen area was converted into an office, and the dining room was extended to connect with the new rear patio, improving circulation and usability throughout the first floor. Thoughtful attention to layout, sightlines, and flow ensures that the living spaces are functional, comfortable, and closely integrated with the private backyard.
